ST. LOUIS - Paul Stastny had a goal and three assists, and the St. Louis Blues beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 on Monday night.

Alexander Steen, Vladimir Tarasenko, Troy Brouwer and Kevin Shattenkirk also scored for the Blues, who have won four of five following a five-game losing streak. Brian Elliott made 36 saves.

Evgeni Malkin and Chris Kunitz scored, and Kris Letang had two assists for the Penguins. They have lost three of four and five of seven. Jeff Zatkoff, making his first start since Dec. 31, stopped 20 shots.

OILERS 4, PANTHERS 2

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Taylor Hall snapped a scoring drought with two goals, Cam Talbot stopped 30 shots and Edmonton added to Florida's slide.

Teddy Purcell had a goal and two assists for Edmonton, which led 3-0 after two periods and then withstood a Florida rally in the final 20 minutes. Jordan Eberle also scored for the Oilers.

Hall, who had an assist as well, scored just one goal in his previous 14 games.

Reilly Smith and Quinton Howden scored early in the third period for Florida, which has dropped four straight since winning 12 in a row. Al Montoya gave up three goals on the first seven shots he faced, and the Panthers had their club-record home winning streak snapped at seven games.

Since their winning streak, the Panthers have been outscored 16-5.

AVALANCHE 2, JETS 1

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Carl Soderberg had a goal and an assist to help Colorado defeat Winnipeg.

Jarome Iginla scored his 13th of the season and Semyon Varlamov made 36 saves for the Avalanche.

Joel Armia scored his second NHL goal for Winnipeg, and Connor Hellebuyck stopped 31 shots. The Jets again failed in an attempt to win a third straight game this season.
