Ty Rimmer earns 37-shot shutout in Hurricanes 4-0 win over Broncos

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Lethbridge Hurricanes goaltender Ty Rimmer turned aside 37 shots to earn the shutout in a 4-0 win over the Swift Current Broncos on Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

Rimmer earned his first shutout with Lethbridge, giving the overage goalie 10 career shutouts after previously blanking the opposition as a member of the Prince George Cougars and Tri-City Americans.

Russell Maxwell, Sam McKechnie, Spencer Galbraith and Jamal Watson did the scoring for Lethbridge (6-6-1).

Maxwell picked up his ninth goal of the season and now leads Lethbridge with 14 points.

Eetu Laurikainen made 22 saves for Swift Current (5-6-4).

The Hurricanes went 1-for-3 on the power play, while the Broncos were 0-for-5.
